April Fain, WSET Qualified
A wine missionary and Managing Director of The Wine Ministry in Zürich, April’s passion is to show the world the pleasure that wine holds as a sensory experience. In addition, she believes that combining mindfulness and wine appreciation serve as means to rewire neuropathways in the brain by revisiting often neglected senses of smell and taste to alleviate stress. She is owner of www.winefulness.ch which she hopes to launch in 2019.
Her wine profile is full-bodied reds with vegetal, forest floor aromas. April has worked in several countries and the last 14 years in Switzerland. Her wine specialties are academic, in the areas of grape-growing, wine-making and wine-pairing.
